BOXING RING - 081 By Køge
The Boxing Ring Lamp - 081 marks Køge’s first collaboration with an external design studio. The lamp was designed by Matthieu Doucet, founder of the design label Imprecis, whose work explores the intersection between architecture, structure, and object design. The piece combines a precise stainless steel frame with a soft inner diffuser inspired by Japanese paper. Tensioned silicone cords create a layered surface that filters the light while revealing the structural composition of the object. Resting on four stainless steel bases, the lamp balances visual lightness with a strong architectural presence. The contrast between the rigid outer frame and the delicate inner diffuser gives the object its distinctive sculptural identity.
