Since 2005, Beau&Bien founded by Sylvie Maréchal, sculpts the light and exploits the best of innovative LED technology having as a result design luminaries with surprising functions and aspects. Beau&Bien creates all its lamp collections combining cutting-edge technology and traditional craftsmanship as the porcelain, of the hand blown glass, presenting new collections every year; all of them completely made in France. The brand, always with the objective of respect of nature and environment has chosen to work the LED as light source thereby reducing up to 50 times their electricity consumption. Born in 1927 the LEDs gained momentum again in the 90’s and it is only very early in the 2000’s that they began to be used as real light source. With a very long lifetime (no renewal for 15 years) the LED do not contain toxic components thus they are easily recycled. All Beau&Bien collections are manufactured in France and are repairable to minimize the carbon footprint of its products. Likewise, each luminary incorporates eco design at all stages of design and manufacturing.

First of all, Limoges porcelain is a majestic material. Beau & Bien combines this high-quality porcelain with innovative LED technology. This unique association allows the creation of prestigious bespoke suspensions. Thus,their luminous creations are composed of unique pieces for a purely French signature. For several years, they have been working exclusively with a French artisan workshop in Limoges for the design of these pieces. Likewise, the Porcelain workshop in Limoges has preserved their ancestral know-how. For instance, the modeling, the casting, the firing and the decoration of the pieces of Porcelain. It is therefore thanks to the mastery of these elements that the workshop was labeled as part of the “Living Heritage Companies”. As a result, Beau & Bien has entrusted this workshop with the production of all porcelain pieces for its custom-made creations. For Beau & Bien, the other important material is the Mouth Blown Glass. Born more than 2000 years ago, the mouth blown requires great rigor, patience and unique know-how. This manufacturing technique requires great skill as well as great precision. This is a process that ensures optimum glass quality and allows freedom in the creation of shapes. This spirit of creativity and precision perfectly reflects the character of Beau & Bien, the uniqueness of each piece. Thanks to this technique Beau & Bien obtains a very light glass which allows its pieces to be suspended, and to create prestigious chandeliers that are installed in the most majestic places. The creations of custom-made chandeliers, lamps and wall lights can be adapted also in terms of materials to meet the needs of their customers.
