Ciclotte bike, the evolution of the exercise bike
The Ciclotte project was born from the evolution of Ciclò, a prototype unicycle designed to meet the need for sustainable urban mobility. In a world where pollution and traffic are a daily issue, Ciclò, an innovative single-wheel city bike model, would be the solution. Designed in carbon to ensure maximum lightness, ease of movement and transportability, featuring an iconic circular shape reminiscent of the retro unicycles of the late 1800s, transformed into an object of refined engineering, Ciclò became part of the permanent collection of the Museum of Italian Design, La Triennale di Milano, in 2007. Due to its success especially with a public that wanted it as an object for their homes, the design was industrially engineered and declined into a functional fitness version, making the now iconic circle its symbol.
