DGA was founded in Florence in 1989 and has been manufacturing high-end architectural
lighting systems entirely in its own Tuscan facilities ever since. Every fixture is Made in Italy at every stage: optical design, painting, assembly, and quality control. The materials—certified
aluminum, stainless steel,
brass—are chosen for their durability and recyclability. A short supply chain reduces environmental impact, supports local suppliers, and enables the precision in shape, finish, color temperature, and light beam that the most demanding projects require.
Technology You Can See and Feel
Thirty-five years of research, 80 professionals, and over 30 Italian and European patents in heat dissipation, optical systems, and construction techniques. The catalog, featuring more than 300 products, reflects a firm conviction: that technical quality and formal quality are not at odds, but belong together. Every luminaire,
indoor and
outdoor, is designed to last and to have a presence in the space, not just a function. One of DGA's most distinctive strengths is miniaturization: in-house designed nano-optics that push dimensions to the limit without compromising on light output. But miniaturization is a means to an end, not the end itself. The goal is always the quality of the result — in terms of light, form, and material — in any context: luxury retail, hospitality, museum spaces, high-end residential, and open spaces.
For projects requiring something specific, DGA customizes materials, formats, and optics to the same standards as the core collection.
Tuscan roots, global presence
80% of production reaches international markets through showrooms in Milan and Paris and a well-established network of architects and lighting designers worldwide. Yet production has never moved from Tuscany—because that is where quality, traceability, and the care that technology alone cannot replicate reside. A business approach oriented toward the circular economy, designed to last.
