Piazzetta's story began in the 1960s when Domenico Piazzetta founded a company that initially specialized in the production of cement items. As early as 1969, he created the first cement hearth with a cast iron fireplace. From that time on, new projects continued to take shape to make the fireplace the true center of the home and everyday life. Research and innovation progressed in the mid-70s when the marble division was born to produce
precious claddings, and the first steel monoblock was manufactured with the patented Multifuoco® System. The 1980s were characterized by the development of the Multifuoco® System and the birth of the ceramics division. The 1990s raced ahead at a fast pace with: the patent of Aluker, a revolutionary material that improves combustion and heat diffusion; Stubotto Kam, the first stove-fireplace in majolica; the
