A classic table model basically consists of two main elements: a top and a base. Table bases can be made of various materials, from different types of wood to metal, from plastic to glass, marble and natural stones. In addition, table bases can come in largely different models, depending on the top to be supported. Lunch and kitchen tables, for instance, are usually supported by the classic four legs bases or by means of a 4-spoke base, while coffee tables for bar and restaurants are generally made with a pedestal table base or a single pole element.
