RYTSOLA is a Finnish-Italian brand of handcrafted furniture and marble accessories, born from the shared vision of Carola and Aksel Rytsola. The company brings together the functionality and natural harmony of Finnish design with the material sensitivity and artisanal culture of Italian craftsmanship, developing objects conceived to stand the test of time and accompany everyday life. Its offering includes handcrafted furniture and marble complements, with an approach rooted in hospitality, cultural dialogue and responsible design.

RYTSOLA, handcrafted furniture and marble accessories between Finnish design and Italian manufacturing

RYTSOLA’s production revolves around collections that interpret design as a synthesis of use, material and family memory. Among its main proposals is Eterna, a collection of accessories in reclaimed marble that enhances the material through an essential and tactile language. Alongside this line, Fleming introduces a series of handcrafted furniture pieces conceived to combine functional proportions, construction quality and durability. The brand also presents a collaboration with MOOMIN, part of the international opening launched with its debut at 3daysofdesign in Copenhagen. In every project, RYTSOLA favors manual workmanship, collaborations with Finnish and Italian artisans and a vision of furniture as an authentic domestic presence, intended to be used and handed down.

The story of RYTSOLA, from Rome to Helsinki

The story of RYTSOLA takes shape between Rome and Helsinki, along a family path that began more than forty years ago. Carola Rytsola lives and studies in Rome, drawn by the city’s historical and architectural stratification, before returning to Helsinki and founding her own studio in 1989. From the beginning, her work stands out for its attention to artisanal quality and for its dialogue with Finnish and Italian master craftspeople. Aksel Rytsola grows up within this dual design culture and, after studying and working in Florence, Milan and Paris, develops the idea of translating the family identity into a structured brand. RYTSOLA thus emerges as the concrete expression of a shared heritage: a project that interweaves family, durability and responsibility, with the aim of creating furniture and objects capable of spanning generations.
