Founded in 1935 in Reichshoffen, Alsace, Tréca Paris is a French brand specializing in
luxury mattresses,
custom beds, and high-end sleep systems. The company embodies the art du sommeil à la française, combining traditional craftsmanship, technological innovation, and exquisite materials. Part of the Adova Group, Tréca manufactures exclusively in France, at its Reichshoffen and Mer (Loir-et-Cher) facilities, where each mattress and
sommier is handcrafted according to genuine artisanal expertise. The collection includes mattresses,
headboards, beds, and matching accessories, catering to both residential interiors and the luxury
contract and hospitality sector.
Tréca Paris: handcrafted design mattresses and beds
Tréca's production is defined by the use of proprietary spring systems – such as Air Spring® and Pullman® – which ensure progressive support and personalized comfort. Each mattress is handcrafted and finished with natural and noble materials such as cashmere, camel wool, silk, linen, alpaca, and horsehair, following a tradition that balances elegance and functionality. The main collections offer diverse interpretations of the art of sleep: the
Impérial Collection, the historic heart of the brand, showcases French artisanal savoir-faire; the
Paris Collection reimagines contemporary luxury through sartorial detailing and precious materials; the
Couture Collection represents the pinnacle of manual craftsmanship and customization; the
Platinum Collection emphasizes top-tier natural fibers; while the
Riviera Collection is inspired by the refined style of Côte d’Azur residences. Among the iconic products stand out the
Impérial Air Spring® Prestige mattress – the emblem of Tréca comfort – and the
Paris Istanbul mattress, featuring full capitonné detailing and refined handcraftsmanship. The offer also includes custom-made beds such as the
Auguste bed and a wide range of headboards, bed bases, and coordinated accessories.
The evolution of the Tréca Paris brand: heritage, collaborations, and design
The Tréca brand was born in 1935 from the transformation of “Tréfilerie-Câblerie”, a family-run Alsatian steel wire manufacturer, into a company dedicated to
spring mattresses. During World War II, it supplied mattresses to the French Army’s medical services, solidifying its technical expertise. In 1947, it acquired the Pullman® license, introducing spring suspensions for mattresses and seating, and during the 1960s it pioneered innovations such as pocketed Air Spring® coils and motorized bed bases. A strong inclination for design and customization has led Tréca to collaborate with renowned French and international designers and creative maisons. Notable partnerships include
Chantal Thomass with the “Secrets d’Alcôves” collection,
Christian Lacroix with “Double Jeu”, Maison Sarah Lavoine, Charles Tassin, and
Constance Guisset, all of whom have reinterpreted the Tréca bed as a true design object. The company also partners with prestigious textile houses such as Lelièvre, strengthening its ties to French sartorial tradition.
In 2022 and 2025, the Reichshoffen and Mer facilities were awarded the Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant (EPV) label, recognizing the excellence of French artisanal and industrial savoir-faire. This distinction affirms Tréca’s role as a benchmark in luxury bedding, combining craftsmanship, innovation, and bespoke comfort. Today, Tréca Paris is featured in leading international showrooms and the world’s most refined hotels, bringing to each project the value of exclusive design and an haute couture approach to sleep, where the bed becomes the ultimate expression of wellbeing and French style.
