The History of WuduMate
WuduMate was established as The Specialist Washing Company Limited in 2007 to provide the next generation of facilities for wudu in prayer rooms and multi-faith rooms situated in public or corporate buildings, and in homes and mosques. Any municipal or commercial building which has Muslim employees, residents, or visitors can benefit from the installation of a WuduMate ablution basin.
The first model was called the WuduMate Commercial (now superseded by the
Classic), designed for use in the commercial sector, soon followed by a smaller model, more suitable for home use, the WuduMate Residential (now the
Compact). The need for a high usage product for mosques led to the WuduMate Mosque being launched (now the
Modular). Customers choose according to the amount of space available, the anticipated level of usage, their budget, and aesthetic preference. The WuduMate Mobile came next to provide the perfect ablution solution for use in prisons, care homes, hospitals, law courts or anywhere requiring flexibility rather than a fixed installation. Best suited to home bathrooms, the dual level WuduMate WuduBasin Floor Standing is the most recent addition to the company’s selection of wudu basins.
The range includes taps specifically designed with each WuduMate foot bath. Their spouts are positioned for the most comfortable wudu and to minimise splashing when hands, face and feet are being washed.
